#16 Funnel Pour on large canvas. Acrylic Pouring.

#16 Funnel Pour on large canvas. Acrylic Pouring. My second painting done for a local art exhibition - just in time. Phew!
This painting was done on the biggest canvas I've ever worked on - 75cm x 60cm or 30" x 24". I love how the large canvas gives more space for the paint to move, so that we end up with some marvellous cells coming through. The gold gave me some gorgeous 'boulders' as I call them. I love the effect that I think, makes it look like big rocks showing up through raging water. I am so pleased with this painting and it dried beautifully as can be seen at the end.
I am loving doing the funnel pours and look forward to doing more.
Thanks again to Sarah Mack for your inspiration 💕
Paints:
Eraldo Cool Blue
Eraldo Cool Red
Eraldo Magenta
Eraldo White
DecoArt Gold - mixed golds including Splendid Gold, Champagne Gold and Copper.
All mixed approximately 1:1 with Floetrol. NO silicone or water.
The consistency was so that it made a mound when poured from stick and left a trail for a few seconds.
Base paint is British Paints White mixed approximately 2:1 with Floetrol. Added a little water so that it was quite fluid. NO silicone.
The consistency for the base paint needed to be quite fluid so that, when poured from a stick, it did not leave a mound but went straight down and sunk into the paint below.
