When it comes to dual sport vs dirt bike in terms of maintenance and reliability, the dual sport wins hands down. Dual sport and enduro motorcycles require far less frequent maintenance and are known to last much longer. What about dirt bike vs enduro in terms of versatility? It's a no brainer. Dirt bikes are highly specialized and great at off road riding, but a dual sport or enduro motorcycle can literally take you anywhere. Another great advantage of dual sport versus dirt bike is the fact that while you can transport your dual sport, you don't have to. You can just hop on and go any time you want, no truck or trailer needed!
The great dirt bike/dual sport debate is not going to stop raging anytime soon, but there are many areas in which a dual sport beats a dirt bike. These are just my five favorites.
