The faster you get your horse tacked up, the sooner you can get into the saddle. So today I want to share with you a coupe of tips to get your horse tacked up quicker so you can get riding! The biggest tip I can offer is to gather all of your tack, and anything you need for riding before you get your horse. If you have everything you need before getting your horse, you will spend less time running back and forth to the barn, tack room, or where ever you keep all of your gear. So gather everything prior to grabbing your horse.
And then, after you are done riding, make sure to put everything away where it lives. This will make it easier (and faster) to gather your stuff. It also is a good idea to give your leather a quick cleaning once you are done riding, in order to make it last as long as you can. And if you spend a few minutes cleaning when you are putting it away, it will be ready for you the next time you come out to work with your horse!
