In this one off sermon, God had been reminding me of the expanse and power of intercession. Jeremiah 38 came up in my readings during this time and it is a perfect story to the tangible act of intercession. Sometimes, our friends, family, brothers, and sisters are wrongly tossed into a cistern meant for punishment and death. They didn't do anything wrong to land there, but that is the result of living in spiritual warfare. Therefore, each of us in the battlefield need an Ebed-Melech to stand up for us in the face of our accusers and reach down to help pull us out of our situation. Be challenged and encouraged in this message to see how Jesus intercedes for us and how we can make our intercessions tangible, as well as prayers, for one another.
