The forecast track for Dorian is uncertain and there are numerous possibilities, including a direct hit on Florida or Georgia, a turn northward toward the Carolinas, or passing over Florida into the Gulf of Mexico and threatening a second landfall in the Gulf Coast, which could affect states like Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia and the Florida panhandle.
