Love Island's Amy Hart has officially quit her job as a British Airways air hostess after eight years of service. The new-found reality star, 27, said she is simply 'too famous' to keep passengers safe as she shared a snap of herself handing in her lanyard at Gatwick Airport on Wednesday. Amy told fans on Instagram: 'A lot of people are asking why I've left BA. I actually left on the 25 May. I just haven't got round to taking all my stuff back yet because I've been so busy.' She added: 'I've just come out of physio and come out to lots of messages about the whole BA thing. I can't work there anymore because I'm there to be in charge of the safety of the whole plane. 'Right now that just wouldn't be attainable because people would be... this isn't me sounding like everyone thinks I'm amazing because it's not that at all.'People would be filming. People filmed us when I hadn't been on a TV show that millions of people watched. 'People would be filming and people would be trying to pick up on everything that I did wrong. Not that I ever did anything wrong.' The reality star added she wouldn't rule out returning to British Airways in the future. It comes after Amy revealed she was missing her old job. She said: 'Don’t get me wrong, Love Island was a life changing experience, but sometimes...what I wouldn't give to be sat in the back galley, on a canister talking through the latest goings on or holding court in the front galley at 4am.' Amy was one of original Love Island contestants and found love with Curtis Pritchard. However after a brief stint in Casa Amor, the blonde beauty returned to find the ballroom dancer wanted to end their romance, leaving her broken hearted. Amid fears for her mental health, Amy made the brave decision to leave the villa after seeking therapy during her stint in the villa. Having recovered from her heartache, she has turned her attentions away from Curtis and on to her former friends on the outside.
