Due to the decline of standards in the 21st century, friend has become a casual word that is thrown onto someone whom we speak or talk to often. Yet, God takes friendship so seriously that He only calls THREE people in the bible His friend: Abraham (Isaiah 41:8 & James 2:23), Moses (Exodus 33:11) and Born Again Believers that do His commands (John 15:14). How much more you when it comes to being a friend to another human being? Can you fit the criteria of friend? Can you be a covenant friend to one of God's precious children, looking out for his/her welfare?
