Today there were a few thunderstorms well to the east and south of us. It was much cooler today not getting out of the 80s due to an increased onshore flow as well as the clouds .It will continue to be a little cooler through Friday with cooler than average temperatures, A Pacific trough will shunt the monsoon moisture and high to the east and cause a dry southwest flow but deepen the low level moist marine layer to about 1700 feet by Fridayh which will cause more persistent and more extensive low clouds.
