Eighty Years Ago We Went to War!

On the 1st of September 1939 Germany invaded Poland. Three days later Britain declared war on Hitler. That was eighty years ago. I shall be making video features to commemorate this war and remind viewers how, for the first time since the Norman invasion, the British stood alone to face the enemy.

In this episode I explore the preparations civilians were advised to undertake in the event of war being declared.
