Island Hopping in Langkawi: Totally Worth It

Island Hopping in Langkawi: Totally Worth It Normally we're not into doing super "touristy" things. But the island hopping boat tours in Langkawi, Malaysia are just the right mix of structure and fun—and completely worth the (cheap) price of admission.

For just RM30 (that's about $8 US) you get to visit two islands, swim in a freshwater lake (with a ton of other tourists, but hey, it's still fun), play on the beach, and see a ton of monkeys.

Sign up at your accommodation or right on the beach in Pentai Cenang. There are tons of different options. We found a signboard on the beach advertising the islands we wanted to visit and just showed up at 9am the next day, cash in hand.

Get up, get out there, and have some fun with an island hopping tour in Langkawi for just a few bucks.

Be sure to bring some water and a small snack if you get peckish.
