Best Driving Day Ever 1012
I’m super excited about today, we’re about to go do something as a family that I’ve wanted to do all summer but haven’t had a chance and that’s go boating on the lake!! One of our neighbors want to take me skiing for the first time. That’s right, I’ve never skiied before, anything with the work board in it I’ve done, but not skiing. So we load up the purple tesla and head over.
We get to our friends house and things aren’t quite ready, so Adley and I go into their ultimate toy room to play barbies! Adley finds a mermaid and it looks like Elsa from disney’s Frozen so she has to play with it. Adley keeps playing games with her friends, while Jenny and I decide to go check out our lot and give you guys some updates. As we head over, Niko learns to drive! Ok it’s just pretend, play like he’s actually driving lol. But he has a blast going over bumps, moving the wheel, and seeing all the cool gadgets.
We get to the lot and it’s coming together! Kevin has been killing it. The tunnels and ramps for the bike path or almost done, we have a brand new pump track that we’ll be able to cruise on. They also put the sand down so now we have our very own private beach!! This place is really going to become part of our daily routine once it’s all done.
But now it’s time to jump on the boat, we get the kids in life jackets and load up for some family fun on the water. I’m up first! I figure out how to get into this slalom ski, and jump into the water. The boat starts going and I get the ski under me, and after a little wobble, i’m up, very first time!! This is so much fun. I crash once or twice, but i really get the hang of it, cutting out wide and crossing the wake. It’s amazing! Jenny then jumps in the water, she wants to wakeboard, and like me she gets up on her first try. But she out does me, by not falling. She just rides and rides till she get tired and lets go of the rope. So proud of her. We then watch Holladay (did I mention that the Holladay’s joined us on this boating activity) shred on the ski! He’s really good, His oldest Choen even goes for a ride.
We then all jump into the hot tub to warm up and end this best day ever!
