Confusing all her fans, she recently stated that she was going to ‘give birth to a black woman’ at the Diamond Ball in New York City. ‘I’m a black woman. I came from a black woman, who came from a black woman, who came from a black woman and I’m going to give birth to a black woman,’ Rihanna told Essence. ‘My mother is an incredible example of how to fight through obstacles in life,’ she added. While many assumed she was simply talking about when she eventually has children, others took it a bit more literally and thought she was making a pregnancy announcement. Taking to Twitter, fans got ‘Rihanna is pregnant’ trending and it was all just a very strange time. Meanwhile, the star recently broke hearts by confirming that no new music is on the way (for now at least).
