Now there has been a study done that many people have many Bibles in their home, but the engagement and reading of those Bibles is decreasing year after year after year. In this particular study from BacktotheBible.org, they interviewed thousands upon thousands of Christian believers to find out what is the most impactful spiritual practice or religious practice that will help spiritual growth. The number one practice a believing Christian can be a part of regularly that gives them the power to overcome sin was being in the Word of God engaging in the Word of God, four or more days a week.

We need to readjust our priorities, and put reading the Word of God back at the top of that list! The enemy is well aware that the Word of God is powerful and sharper than a two edged sword, and he wants to keep us out of the Word of God. You need to get in the Word of God because it is good for you. You’re going to get the Word of God because it says the engrafted Word is able to save your souls.
