Wish kid Caleb, from Montgomery, TX, suffers from a heart condition and is fascinated by learning more about the medical field through his favorite show The Good Doctor. Thanks to our friends at Disney and ABC, Caleb’s wish to be a patient on the show came true. The wish was even more than he imagined, as he received the star treatment on set and even got to spend some time getting to know The Good Doctor himself, actor Freddie Highmore. Take a look at this special behind-the-scenes video from Caleb’s VIP wish. Since 1980, Disney and Make-A-Wish have granted wishes for more than 130,000 children with critical illnesses around the world. Learn more about how Disney and Make-A-Wish transform lives, one wish at a time at wish.org/Disney.
-- Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors and supporters advance the Make-A-Wish® vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a critical illness. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 34 minutes. We believe a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us and inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.
