► One of the biggest concerns people have had about Pokemon Sword and Shield ever since it was announced at E3 that Pokemon will be getting removed from the game has consistently been "How many Pokemon are in Sword and Shield?"
With the recent leaks, it looks like we might finally have our answer! A leaker from 4chan claims to know the total number of Pokemon in the Pokedex, and they made three key points
- There will be 405 Pokemon in the Galar Pokedex
- There will be an expanded 632 Pokemon in a Postgame Pokedex
- Older Legendaries and Starters will not be returning
While we know that atleast the Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizard family will be returning in sword and shield, the rest of the leak seems to make a lot of sense with what we know so far.
