This is the gel plate I bought:
(I am an Amazon affiliate -- for over a decade now -- and will earn a small amount in revenue should you buy through one of my links. Thank you!)
This plate (Gel Press) is less expensive than some brands; I love the value. I have been playing with it for a couple of weeks now and I really, really like it! I thought about making my own, but I decided that it would cost me as much in time, energy, mess and running around looking for ingredients as it would to buy one at an affordable price. However, there are some tutorials out there for making your own gel plates. I am using a vintage brayer I bought from the Scrap Exchange, but you can also pick up a brayer at Amazon or your local craft store. I am using acrylic paints, liquid stamp-pad inks, and alcohol inks.
Thank you so much for watching!
