It was a sad day when I found the rear subframe cross member on my TW200 to be cracked. I guess it was better to find it now before it broke completely off. This spot is where my aftermarket manrack attaches to and is the same place the cycleracks mounts to as well. I put a lot of weight on that rack when I go motocaming and to top it off I take the bike off small jumps and drop it a lot with said weight. So it's no surprise that it's starting to crack and I am quite astonished it lasted as long as it did with there being well over 15,000 miles on the clock. Anyways, I decided to learn how to weld myself because it will be a useful skill to have, especially since my exhaust bracket snapped in half and a part of the mainframe is cracking as well. Fixing those will be shown in separate videos but for now I'm hoping this repair will hold up. If it continues to break I will add reinforcement in the future. thanks for watching, stay safe, and happy riding!
