Two Installation Methods. The all new Torxe Wingman tailgate assist installs using two basic methods depending on your application. Some trucks may use existing hardware on the tailgate to install a new pivot point bracket. Others will require the installation of a nut-sert to secure the new pivot point bracket to your tailgate. Both installation methods require no modifications to your truck and are covered within this video.

No Special Tools. The Wingman tailgate assist can be installed on your truck in as little at 30 mins using only basic hand tools! No drilling or cutting is required so you can leave your drill in the toolbox for this one. All you need is a socket set and ratchet, allen key, and a set of open ended wrenches.
