UBER loses license to operate in London

Ride-sharing service Uber has lost its licence to operate in London over safety concerns.
The city's transit authority is not renewing its license to operate and has cited several breaches that put passengers' safety at risk, saying Uber is not currently "fit and proper".
But the company has promised to appeal the decision and now has 21 days to do so.
Uber can continue to operate while the appeals process is under way.
