Apple CEO Tim Cook will be playing host as US President Donald Trump visits the Apple manufacturing plant in Texas. The visit comes amid the US-China trade war, and it may be a symbolic pullback for Mr Trump from his tirade against big technology firms. In September, Apple said it would keep making its Mac Pro computers in the US, after obtaining tariff exemptions for some components. Both men differ on a number of political issues, but Mr Cook had apparently reached out personally about Apple getting hit hard with tariffs on its products made in China.
