Il Natale commerciale viene rappresentato da Babbo Natale, nella antica tradizione dei paesi del nord il re Inverno veniva rappresentato con una lunga barba bianca , questa figura è poi stata usata per rappresentare Babbo Natale, anche l' albero di Natale è un' usanza del nord europa .
