Hey, we have another phrase that means exactly the same thing. You could say it drives me up the wall and the same things apply here. When my kids fight in the back of the van while I'm driving, it drives me up the wall. Again, this means that it makes me a little bit angry but actually, just more annoyed and more frustrated than anything else. So when you say that something drives me up the wall, it means that it is something that is driving you crazy. One of the other things that drives me up the wall is when people just aren't nice to each other. I think the world would be a much better place if we were all just a little bit kinder to each other and we didn't drive each other up the wall.
