Menendez on Armenian Genocide (S.Res.150): I’m Not Going to Cease until We Do What is Morally Right

Menendez on Armenian Genocide (S.Res.150): I’m Not Going to Cease until We Do What is Morally Right Senate Foreign Relations Committee Ranking Democrat Robert Menendez (D-NJ), who along with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is leading the charge for Senate passage of the Armenian Genocide resolution, pledged on December 5th to issue a call for “unanimous consent” for S.Res.150 on a weekly basis until the measure is adopted.

“I just want my colleagues to know that I intend to come once a week to the Senate floor, and all those who want to be listed on the wrong side of history, they have the option of doing so,” vowed Menendez. “I’m not going to cease until we do what is morally and principally right—and that is recognize the Armenian Genocide, as a host of other nations have, as well.”
