On December 9th 2019 the APL Mexico City breaks her mooring due to strong winds and drifts towards a container crane. The ship hits the container crane with her bridge which collapses on impact !
There was no one in the crane except some maintenance crew, but they managed to get away safely !
This accident happend in Antwerp Harbor in the Deurganckdok
