The YouTube stars uploaded and have since deleted a vlog, which saw Zoe jokingly shouting ‘Help!’ after Alfie touched her leg. After looking shocked, Alfie told her: ‘No, that’s not even funny. The neighbours are going to think something weird is going on.’ As Zoe continued to giggle and shout: ‘Help!’ Alfie told her again: ‘That’s not funny. That’s legit not funny.’ ‘That’s one of my favourite games to play with Alfie when the bedroom window’s open,’ Zoe laughed, with Alfie saying: ‘It’s literally not a game at all.’ He explained: ‘The window’s open because it’s ridiculously hot in our bedroom and then Zoe will just start shouting: “Help, stop it Alfie, Help!” And I’m like “That’s just not funny.” Someone’s going to think I’m attacking you.’ After fans pointed out how insensitive the segment of the video was, Alfie took to social media to apologise. Zoe, who has previously been crowned the UK’s wealthiest female social media star under 30, added: ‘We’ve seen a few comments about a moment in alfie’s newest video where i was messing around and demonstrating that I’ve occasionally wound him up at home by shouting “help” when he comes near me. ‘There was absolutely no intention of trivialising a serious issue, we were just being silly, but can absolutely see in hindsight how that might come across to some people! ‘We decided to take down the video so as not to cause any further confusion or upset. ‘Sorry to those of you who felt upset about it, that was 1000000% NOT my intention & not something we would have posted had we known.’ Victims of domestic violence can find help at womensaid.org.uk or 0808 2000 247
