Everyone has a plan to save a certain amount of money every month but sometimes you just can’t ignore the extra expenses that can pop up unexpectedly. In most cases, emergency expenses are required to pay for things like your car breaking down, or you need to fix the boiler, or you smashed your phone and it needs repairing or worse, replacing! This is what I call the “Unavoidable Expenses”.

Due to the number of family members and close friends on both my side and my wife’s, we feel that we are always forking out an extra £100-£200 per month on birthday gifts and party’s. You also feel like you can’t avoid these costs either and I call this category the “Nice to have Expenses”.

In this day, cost of living has gone up, house prices have gone up and it’s pricing out a lot of youngsters so it can be extremely stressful and difficult to survive each month. Maybe you are trying to save more so you can put a deposit down on that house or buy a new car. A lot of people turn to credit cards and small loans just to survive but there has to be a better solution!

Here are 4 ways you can earn an extra £100-£300 per month, with minimal amount of effort and in some cases, just FREE money being given away!

1. Paid FOCUS Groups
This is where you and other participants get together to talk about a particular product or service and basically give your opinions and feelings about it, and in return you get paid in cash! My advice is, sign up to as many as you can and be honest about yourself and provide as much detail as you possible can. Then sit back and wait to be contacted, some of these can pay up to £250 cash!

2. Paid ONLINE Survey’s
Similar to the first one but this can all be done online! My advice is to set yourself some strict rules and try not to waste too much time on this. I decided to do a 1-MONTH survey challenge to see how many I can complete in a month and how much it pays out. However, I can only do it in my spare time and not dedicate any time to it otherwise it just becomes painful and will feel like work.

3. Earn CASH by switching your current bank accounts
This is one of my favourites. Why? Because it’s just so easy and pays out pretty well. Banks are constantly fighting for new customers and they will do all sorts, even give you FREE cash to switch to them. Most people think it’s a hassle but now with the 7-day switch guarantee, everything from your Direct Debits to your outstanding balance and all your information is automatically transferred over as part of the process. Never has it been so easy to make an extra bob!
In fact, here is my top tip for making £250 in 2020:

Step 1: Create a Nationwide current account and recommend a friend to join too. BOOM you both get £100 each for doing that. Here is the NW link below:

Step 2: Once you get the £100 from NW, then switch to Firs Direct. You receive £50 for doing that:

Step 3: After 6 months, leave First Direct bank (or switch to someone else) and they will give you £100 as a leaving present! (They think they are too good for you to leave)

Therefore in total, you will make £100 + £50 +£100 = £250!!

4. Rent out your Parking space
A lot of people are Airbnb’ing their spare rooms these days, but why not do the same for your parking spot? The number of cars on the road is growing and as a result, there is a massive demand for parking spaces all over the UK. You can earn somewhere between £50 - £450 per month doing this (depending on location). In fact, some people are even considering buying up parking spaces and renting them out as a business!
