Today was really eye opening. Coming off a hard week with Ella we have realized so many things we can do better as parents to help El live her very best life. For so many years we gave into her every want and need just in the hopes of seeing her smile. That now has us in a bit of a predicament with Ella wanting every single thing she can get her hands on. Autism is no excuse to be spoiled and that is 100% our fault. We now are all in a place where Ella is happy just playing and interacting with us on a daily basis and we are making more of an effort to make sure she is getting our full attention and really getting down on her level .
