BBB: Millennials among millions scammed by vacation, home rentals Planning a vacation or looking for a new place to live? A recent study from the Better Business Bureau says to make sure you do your homework before you try to snag a good deal.

A low price, great amenities and prime location sounds like a good deal. But sometimes, Steve Baker with the Better Business Bureau says that’s how scammers lure you in.

“The trick is for some reason the owner can’t show it in person. They’re out of town on a family emergency or something like that,” Baker said.
