The big learning for me while I was doing research for this piece was the impeccable work of artists such as Sathyan, Prem Nazeer, Madhu and many such gems(including writers, directors, producers) who paved the way to build what we now know as Malayalam Cinema. I went and spent some time with my mom and dad, the joy with which they spoke about their favourite films had me fall in love with our film fraternity all over again.
