Does Vintage Mean Better? £300 Vintage Telecaster Pickup Install | Barcus Berry Part 2

So I could not get the sound I wanted from this pickup in my acoustic guitar so I put it in my Harley Benton Telecaster Kit Guitar. These pickups sell for upwards of £300 second hand largely because they are rare but my question is does that make them better in tone than modern pickups.?

It could be worth it to a collector maybe but how did it sound in my Telecaster?? Watch this video to find out.
