This is how much I made from YouTube in 2019 and my goal for 2020. It still amazes me to this day that I am making money from doing something that I absolutely love and have a true passion for. The mere fact I am making money online is pretty cool also. I started my YouTube channel back in April of 2018 and was not officially monetized until Feb 2019. That is 9 months of doing this for no money, which did not phase me at all because I truly loved what I was doing.
So the exact total I made in 2019 for YouTube was $11,451.29. To break this down a bit farther, I have it separated by each category of how I made that total amount from my YouTube business.
1st income stream is through the most popular here and that is YouTube ad revenue. In 2019 I made a total of $6,792.22 from placing ads on my videos.
2nd income stream is through my Etsy Shop that I only had open for a few months. In 2019 I made a total of $60.13 from the Etsy Shop selling spreadsheets I have created.
3rd income stream is through affiliate income. I made a total of $3,348.94 from all of my affiliates in 2019. This is an awesome way for newer channels to bring in some income before they are monetized. That way you don't have to solely rely on ad revenue.
4th and final income stream was through sponsored videos. I made a total of $1,250 from all of my sponsored videos in 2019.
Why do I share this information? Well, I want you to use it as inspiration! I want you to know that if a small town middle of America living father and do this then SO CAN YOU!!!
So what is my goal for 2020? I would like to make a total of $20,000 or more in the year 2020. Now, is that achievable? I hope so! I have a lot of others things that will differ me from YouTube but I will make it happen.
