This is kind of Cupid’s past story.
Cupid is tired of the popularity and she wants to spend her time doing other things instead of practicing, singing at concerts, interviews etc. On the other hand, her brother, Caleb, is also sick of the popularity, he just want alone time with his boyfriend without having people surrounding him for autographs.
Human: Cupid is not saying to her parents that she’s human or anything, to her it means that she’s like any other ordinary person. They have emotions and they are not slaves to their parents to make money. Even if she’s popular, she
“Your words in my head,”- Their parents are consistently telling that they have to be “perfect” (whatever their definition of perfect is..); “knifes in my heart” everything that they have loved and wanted to do they can’t do anymore.
(Referring at the beginning when Cupid mentions about her brother wanting to be a hairdresser)
Colors: (my opinion) the colour blue means sadness and grey is depression (Caleb felt like he was being manipulated and trapped) I don’t want to make a bold statement or anything but Caleb is depressed and he is not diagnosed with depression or anxiety, he just feels sad that he’s forced to do something that he doesn’t even like to do and he’s unable to escape it, until the end of “Colors”.
