UPDATE: Nassau County Police confirm the 27-year old died of their injuries at Plainview Hospital. Nassau County Police Det. Lt. Stephen Fitzpatrick says the victim was targeted. The 27-year old was pulled over on the side of the road in red Ford Explorer when another vehicle pulled up. Following the second vehicle pulling up shots ran out. A Man was critically injured after being shot twice during a drive-by shooting. Nassau County Police confirm the shooting happened outside of a home in Plainview, New York.
The shooting was reported around 5:30 p.m., outside of house at 45 Margaret Dr East. When Officers and EMS arrived on scene they immediately began CPR and other life saving measures on the male victim. Police confirm the victim was a 27-year male who was reportedly shot twice in the chest.
The 27-Year Old Man was rushed to Plainview Hospital but his condition was not known.
Source say two suspects fled in a silver or gold colored Fod Fusion from the scene.
