Perhaps our greatest asset and liability is our tongue. And in the 21st century, our physical tongue has manifested as a digital tongue on social media. Whereas many of us are on our best behavior in public, we become polar opposites on social media. Harshness emanating from our tongue and actions can lead to both emotional, spiritual, and physical harm. The God-conscious Muslim is aware of this and applies the appropriate conduct online and offline. The Annual MAS-ICNA Convention is one of the largest and most diverse Islamic conventions in North America. The convention takes place in Chicago, Illinois every December during the winter holiday season.
