This Northern Raccoon was hit by a car and found by a Caltrans worker. He suffered from a broken jaw, and without emergency care, he would not be able to eat and he would eventually starve to death. Thankfully, he was brought to the Bahde Wildlife Center where our wildlife veterinarian, Dr. Jon Enyart, was able to surgically place a wire to stabilize his jaw. Watch this raccoon's story!
