Tote Board to set up review panel to examine software glitches in Toto online system

Tote Board to set up review panel to examine software glitches in Toto online system The Tote Board will set up a review panel to examine two incidents resulting from software errors in the system managed by Singapore Pools. This involves only the system that generates bets placed online for TOTO Quick Pick and System Roll bets. The first glitch happened between October 2018 and December 2019. It resulted in the number "49" being left out of the numbers generated. The second glitch also dated back to October 2018 -- the system should have randomly generated six numbers and assigned the letter "R" in place of one of the six numbers. Instead, the system replaced the largest number with the letter "R". Singapore Pools said it has since rectified both errors.
