1966 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible restoration part 81 painting underside of hood & fenders

Painted the fenders this afternoon. By the time I started spraying, it was 50ºF and sunny. They came out fine. It's the underside of the hood, so I just gave it a quick sand-out then paint. I wanted to paint the inner side of the fenders, to protect them, and make them look nice. I thought body color would look much nicer than black, so I bought an extra gallon of body color, just for inner panels and the inside of the trunk.

Got the dash pad for it instrument cluster today too. It looks great!
