Activists unite to inform, dispel myths about epilepsy A ministry of health survey has revealed that three percent of all Ugandans or about 1.3 million Ugandans suffer from Epilepsy.

The ailment is a neurological disorder, which leads to convulsions and loss of consciousness, associated with abnormal electric activity in the brain.

As Jjingo Francis reports, the findings have emphasised the call for more action, as the country joins the rest of the world in marking the international day for epilepsy.
