Coming of Age | 60 Days on a Motorcycle | Part 7 In 2019, I turned 60 years old and as a birthday present to myself I decided to take some time off and take a 60 days motorcycle trip. In a way, this adventure was a coming of age story for me. I am now heading into my retirement years and this trip was a celebration of the time that has gone before as well as a reminder to live the last few decades of my life to the fullest.
Leaving Maggie Valley, it was another wet one, but I still had a great ride into Birmingham Alabama. One there, I tool another day off the bike to visit the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum and hang out with Kevin McKinney of the Throttled Podcast.
