In today’s video, Serene demonstrates how to properly do a V sit up. With this exercise it is very easy to use your low back and hip flexors instead of your abs if you are unsure how to do the exercise.

Controlling Lower Trunk 1:40
- Lift legs up
- Squeeze knees & ankles together
- Press low back against the floor
- Inhale down
- Exhale up
- Focus on controlling leg lifts with your core

Bending From Your Spine 2:33
- Lift legs up
- Squeeze knees & ankles together
- Raise arms overhead
- Slowly lift up
- Bring your arms in front over your legs
- Keep your arms straight
- Use core to find & hold balance at the top

V Sit Up 3:35
- Legs and arms stretched out long
- Palms facing in
- Knees together
- Ankles together
- Deep breath (Inhale)
- (Exhale) Lift arms, chest , & legs together
- Hold in a V position with hands pointing towards feet
- Slowly return back to the floor
- Keep legs hovering if you can
