Kobe Bryant death: Scene of helicopter crash that killed the former basketball star and others

Retired basketball star Kobe Bryant was among nine people, including his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, who died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, on Sunday.

The City of Calabasas said the helicopter crashed around 10 a.m. PT in an area they described as a remote field.

Smoke could be seen pouring from the wreckage as firefighters responded at the scene.
