Project Density: 2080ti Xeon ITX under 6.4L

Project Density: 2080ti Xeon ITX under 6.4L No wasted space! Two chassis were made. The first housed a $3000 liquid cooled Xeon with a 10Gbe card and served as a prototype for the 2080ti build, which was tricky as it also needed to have the Vive WiGig card for the Vive Pro. Both had custom power supplies internally which would later become the new HDPLEX 200DC and 400AC. These were the most challenging chassis I have ever built and assembled and clock in at 6.39L

Some notable challenges:
-milling the carbon fiber underwater so my diamond bit wouldn't wear out before all the sconeslot vents were cut

-the black walnut boards wanted to curl up and had to be soaked and flattened for months over and over again

-fitting everything together like a jigsaw puzzle. The case is so small that it had to be built around the GPU

-the wiring/sleeving was on another level...I gave up halfway through and had my friend Joe who is a master sleever do it. He says it was the hardest project he has ever done.

-the edges of the acrylic panels needed a half bullnose roundover, which was incredibly hard do to sniping and I had no extra material to just chop off

-the power supply...Larry basically used these projects to prototype and test the HDPLEX 400AC and HDPLEX 200DC

Patrons can download the 3D model I used to mill this chassis. Thank you everyone for supporting this channel, but especially my Patrons.

Special thanks to Joe Mercado for the sleeving, Scott Buckley for the music, Craig Babiuk for the emotional support and for the Dynamo 360, Joe from Keysight for the Xeon commission and Mohad for the 2080ti commission. Very special thanks to my dad for building the first cut of this video, as I didn't think I had anything to make a video out of for this. :)

I have a Patreon too and I try to offer cool perks, although I am still learning and have a long way to go:

Peace to you all and God bless you!
