The popularity of Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has plummeted below those of former Premiers Campbell Newman and Anna Bligh. Ms Palaszczuk popularity has slipped to just 28 per cent but she still leads opposition leader Deb Frecklington as preferred premier 34 per cent to 22 per cent.
Ms Freckington faces internal critcism after her assault on Ms Palaszczuk's fashion choices.
According to a new YouGov poll, Labor and the Coalition are locked 50-50 on a two-party preferred basis eight months before the start of the election campaign.
Labor says the poor result is reflected in Ms Palaszczuk's failure to deal with deputy Jackie Trad's integrity crisis.
