Singapore Airlines Business Class - Singapore to Stockholm, via Moscow (SQ 362) - Airbus A350-900

Singapore Airlines Business Class - Singapore to Stockholm, via Moscow (SQ 362) - Airbus A350-900 In this trip video, we review a long-haul Business Class flight between Singapore, Moscow and Stockholm on board a Singapore Airlines A350-900.

The video starts off with us paying a brief visit to the “SilverKris Lounge” at Changi Airport terminal 3 after disembarking flight SQ 222 from Sydney. The Business Class section of the lounge is generally busy at night due to the number of SQ flights departing at the time; however, we manage to get a seat and enjoy some items from the self-service buffet.

After boarding flight SQ 362, we take a look at the layout of the Business Class cabin on the A350-900 and the new Business Class seat product. The A350 has 42 Business Class seats arranged in a 1-2-1 layout, thus ensuring every passenger has direct aisle access. The seats are spread out over 2 cabins – there’s a large, main Business Class cabin at the front, and a smaller more private one just behind it. In this video, we review the seat positions, storage spaces, legroom, seat space, IFE/WiFi and in-flight service.

During the 11 hours flight to Moscow, there’s 2 meal services – supper and breakfast – and some refreshment snacks available anytime during the flight. The food and drink options are high quality and plentiful. We even get to sample the Book The Cook menu, which offers even more meal options that can be prebooked online prior to the flight.

I get to sample the 78 inch-long and 28 inch-wide lie-flat bed during the flight. Plush pillows, a thin mattress topper and a comfortable blanket are provided to allow for a good night’s rest. While I manage to sleep for a number of hours, the configuration of the bed means that passengers do have to sleep diagonally, which can be awkward for some. Of note, SQ do not provide pyjamas and amenity kits - even in Business Class. Basic amenities, however, can be found in the toilets (Eg. dental kits, shaving kit, comb, etc.). Only slippers, eyemasks and socks are provided in the cabin.

For passengers flying onward to Stockholm, there’s a 1 hour transit period in Moscow. Business Class guests have access to the more than adequate “Airport Business Lounge” where they can freshen up before having to fly another 2 hours to Stockholm. On the short flight to the Swedish capital, a light refreshment meal is served

Upon landing at Arlanda airport, we’re one of the first off the aircraft. This means we can pass through immigration/customs quickly, and pick up our priority-tagged baggage faster.
