Emails are not good for conversation. Words, alone, are not enough to communicate tone, intent and emotion. Why you should skip emails and pick up the phone for your important business conversations. If you're an introvert and hide behind email, you may discover a limit to your business success. Albert Mehrabian's 7-38-55 Rule of Personal Communication. 7% of a message is communicated through words, 38% is through tone of voice, and 55% is through body language. If you are afraid to talk to clients on the phone and depend on emails alone to conduct business, your message has a high chance of being misunderstood.
