Uasin Gishu women rep Gladys Boss Shollei has said that the ongoing BBI Consultative Forums should be cancelled since they are being used as political forums for advancing selfish interests. Sholei says that the Building Bridges Inititiave will not, in any way, solve people’s problems but serves only as a platform for political show off and grandstanding.
The woman representative has also faulted the national government over taking over Nairobi County,, saying that the move is illegal and that the Nairobi County Assembly as well as residents should have been consulted.
