Rengeteg panellakás épült a volt szocialista országokban. Csak Romániában a lakosság közel 70 százaléka él ilyen lakásokban. A lakótelepek szürke, komor hangulatot kölcsönöznek a városoknak. Ezen próbál segíteni az Over 4. A román csapat a panelépületek legfelső szintjének átalakításával orvosolná az esztétikai problémákat. A bukaresti egyetem építészhallgatói remek munkát végeztek. Sikerült a természet harmóniáját visszahozni a nyüzsgő városokba. A külső faburkolat ötletes belső teret takar, terasszal, pihenősarokkal és egy rejtett irodával. A román csapat részéről Alexandra Ene mutatta be az épületet.
There were built plenty of panel buildings in the former socialist countries. Only in Romania, nearly 70 percent of the population lives in such homes. The blockhouses give the cities a gray, gloomy atmosphere. Over 4 tries to help with this. The Romanian team would solve the aesthetic problems by transforming the top level of the panel buildings.
Architects at the University of Bucharest did a great job. We managed to bring the harmony of nature back to the bustling cities. The exterior wood paneling includes a smart interior with a terrace, seating area and a hidden office. Alexandra Ene presented the building on behalf of the Romanian team.
