There are just some faces in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that seem like perfect fits, but the road to success isn’t always easy. Today, we’re going to be talking about some of our favorite actors before they became a part of the MCU. Prior to landing the role of Vision, Paul Bettany was told he would never work in acting again. Josh Brolin very nearly turned down the role of Thanos until he got inspiration from a surprising source. Surprisingly, Elizabeth Olsen and Zoe Saldana experienced things which nearly caused them to give up on showbusiness for good prior to landing their respective roles in the MCU. While Tom Holland used to be bullied for his dancing skills, they ultimately helped him get cast as our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Tom Hiddleston was actually cast as another character before becoming Loki and Chris Hemsworth called his career “debatable” prior to landing the role of Thor. We’ll also talk about the surprising reason why Chris Evans turned down the role of Captain America not only once, but three separate times.
