T'puram: An allegation has been raised against IAS officer Sriram Venkitaraman by the kin of a farmer who committed suicide. Kattappana based farmer KM Sivan had lodged a complaint with Sriram Venkitaraman who was then the Sub Collector of Devikulam stating that his property was snatched using forged documents. It is alleged that the IAS officer did not act on the complaint and that led to Sivan's suicide. The kin alleged that the IAS officer had made fake dispatch document to cover up his lapse in duty.
