With only a short break since his debut long player “Late Dreamer”, Jullian Gomes swoops straight back in with his sophomore album “Slow Poison”. Taking a more introspective lookout, Jullian’s Slow Poison delivers a plethora of styles from his skill bank, ranging from story telling soundscapes through trademark deep house and soulful house into neo-electronic-disco, this album is a wonderful journey of emotions and energy. Jullian features some wonderful talent from Zaki Ibrahim, Jinadu, Martin Iveson, Fka Mash, B. Bravo, Ree Morris, Tahir Jones & Samantha Thornhill who all bring their own vibe to the table. A wonderful return, from one of South Africa’s revered artists.
